Luigi 003
The below photo from Silverstone in
1977 shows the 3 cars in UFO livery. 001 #5 in
the middle. Notice that the banner across the top of
the windshield says “Castrol,” and not “Luigi”
because by this time in the season Luigi and Finotto
had had their spat.
History: the original CSL had a crash and the
Italian wizard quickly took a cs body and converted that quickly into a
CSL. later the crashed CSL was repaired again and came back to the circuit.
It has a nice pedigree.
