3.0 CSL Coupe 1973L 99,000 miles, polaris silver, original black scheel cloth/vinyl interior, ‘city pack’ which includes electric windows, power assisted steering, front and rear bumpers etc. correct 14″ Alpina alloys wheels, the last registered keeper owned this vehicle for over 30 years (and only 3 pevious owners), during his tenure it was a regular on the show circuit and well known in BMW Car Club circles, it is one of the most original and unmolested examples remaining, it has always been cherished, has never been neglected and has always been subjected to sympathetic care and maintenance thus has never required a full restoration in its lifetime, it has a very large history file detailing its upkeep, it has so many lovely detials and features that are so often lost along the way such as the original Blaupunkt radio, the original toolkit is present and correct, the original carpets are all unworn with the drivers heel pad still intact, this really is a superb example of these leightweight performance coupes, one of 500 UK RHD cars produced and a very rare opportunity today, I personally think these cars offer serious investment potential, at less than a third of the price of it’s closest rival, the Porsche 911 RS Touring was similarly priced when new and was it’s closest competitor on the track and in the showroom, and the CSL is rarer! the world will catch on sooner or later.
