History:

 

"With seller for last 14 years in 2006. Professionally rebuilt 1992 including engine. S/S exhaust. Always dry stored. 2006 had rotten tyres as if it had been stored when tyres had deflated. Rebuilt engine. Re-advertised Nov 2011 . Now asking £50,000 May 2013. Lots of bills and provenance although it had many MoT failure items for electrical faults (lights) but looks in nice condition. Owner selling the back bumper June 2014. Car now for sale privately Sept 2014. No details. Being advertised by Hairpin Co in Dec 2014. No price shown.

Auctioned 7 Nov 2015 by Anglia Auctions for £71,500and said to have had"body off" restoration in 2000 . Now about 88,000 miles. Looks pretty good with good shell detail in engine bay and nice interior and boot space. Fair price."

History Richard Washer: This Fjord one KJU 764L is known as the “ Reading Car”.....
Yet another one that got away from me.....
In about late 1985, I saw this CSL advertised in the Thames Valley Trader @ circa £1,800. It was very down @ heel and had been sitting in this rear garden. I took it out for a test drive and can still remember that the clutch pedal was very slow to return. By the time we got back it was getting dark and i couldnt properly assess just how bad the rot was. I didnt really like Fjord either, so i passed on it.
It has been “restored” and my pal Martin bought it in about 2011. I inspected this one for a client a few years ago.
It has been for sale several times recently. I believe that it is on sale again now.
