Zebre  Type D chassis 9076 moteur  No 6403.

Zebre, Type D, frame 9076, engine # 6403.

Zebre Tup D, frame 9076, Motor Nr 6403.

Same car in the 1950's

We are almost certain now that this is our old car with a few changes over the past fifty years. The things that make us believe it is our car are

 The badge on the radiator (looks exactly like the one we had copied although now plated). The 2-ring is not in our opinion original Le Zebre.
 The dent in the radiator top right position

Ian could not detect evidence of the rear vision mount site on the right front mudguard, but it was difficult to be sure of this.
The differential looks like an original Le Zebre diff and could have replaced the Ford-T diff that was on our car.
The tail-shaft may have a weld at the back end but again this needs further clarification. It could of course have been replaced with the diff.

The “original” colour was blue (like ours) when Adrian got it. Adrian painted it yellow only because he thought it was an appropriate colour for the age the car.
The body work is pretty much as we remember it and the engine also. Adrian said he probably put the Solex carburettor on.

So all in all, we are confident that this is our old car with some modification.
