Update 2014
After undergoing a careful ground up restoration in the early 90s this car has been fastidiously maintained by all of its owners, including over $56k in documented maintenance and improvements in the last decade. This has yielded several excellence awards at car shows and validates the care that has been taken to preserve this unique BMW.
Fitted with a 3.5L motorsport engine (the original block and crankshaft accompany this vehicle), this BMW is remains a loyal CSL with ventilated disc brakes, fuel injection, leather steering wheel, wide Alpina alloy wheels and correct alloy bodywork.

Since the early 1990's the car has own many awards and trophies for its excellent condition.
