Borrowed by BMW in 2015 to launch the CSL-R Hommage in America. Fun fact - they want the owner's car because the owner has the reputation to have better CSLs than BMW itself.

Restored: fully restored in the years 200X (late?)
Modifications: this BMW 3.0 CSL
was tuned to Alpina B2 specifications. The car features
special modifications to the engine: 3003 cc. cylinder
capacity (2985 cc standard), special pistons, cylinder head, three twin
choke Weber carburettors (2 Zenith carburettors standard),
special Alpina air-box, limited slip differential and
modified suspension to cope with the additional power.
Transaction:
- For a few weeks in 2012: car dealer that bought the CSL from Lex Classic. Sold to Peter with Lex's help
- For sale by Lex Classics 2011, asking price 2012 89 500 euros. Sold thanks to the ad in www.lezebre.eu
