This car, an invention of the engineer Jules Salomon, belongs to the section of "unique cars" in the Broual collection. Everything in this machine breathes lightness, starting with the classic chassis and the very narrow tubular axle, with braking at the front. The body that extends well beyond the chassis is a cyclecar or roadster with a windshield and a hood and features only two seats. It is made of aluminum. The bonnet is non-existent, only two hatches access to the engine. The mechanics is made of a two-stroke single-cylinder engine, with liquid cooling, and there is a separate gearbox. This car has the registration number of 5941 RE9, which dates from 1931, and which could be the year this car was made. It may well have been designed around 1927, just before Salomon joined Rosengart, and registered or re-registered in 1931. The registration system did indeed change in 1928. Apart from upholstery, this very interesting and unique Jules Salomon car is complete.
