Restoration: in the Spring of 1999 the car was totally dismantled and restored to concourse standard. This painstaking and necessarily lengthy task took until July 2001 to complete, in the process of which the factory decided that the car was to be refinished in the iconic Chamonix White with red/blue stripes Motorsport livery of the factory racers.
