History: update 2017: only three owners from new, number 160 was purchased from Langley Motors, Surbiton by Mr Jan Bobrowski in December 1972. Approximately 50,000 miles were covered during Mr Bobrowski's ownership when, in 1984, the car was sold to it's second owner, Mr Robert Astor. In regular use until 1996 by which time the car had covered 107,609 miles. Just 9,230 miles were covered in the following twenty-one years. Purchased by the vendor, the third owner, in 2003 who describes it as a good, usable CSL that has been consistently maintained throughout it's life rather than being fully restored. It comes complete with the original service book containing 23 main dealer stamps including one in 1979 when a brand new engine was installed by BMW Distributors of Brentford, Middlesex. Also in the history file is the MoT history print-out from 2006, a folder with various invoices dating mainly from the '80s and '90s, previous owner details and sales receipt, a detailed record of fuel used up to 1996 and spare keys. The radiator, water pump, hoses and header tank have recently been replaced along with both servos, pads and various brake hoses.
