Outside color:

• Although seller claims "it is believed to have been re-painted by BMW from new in Verona (024) for the first owner", it is unlikely and the car must have been repainted later in its life. Approx 58  Verona (024) RHD were manufactured and these cars were hard to sell by BMW UK due to their high price (close to an Aston Martin, double an XKE). So there were plenty of  Verona (024) CSLs to buy in 1972/1973.
• The original colour was Fjord Blue metallic (037).

Original equipment: RHD City Pack which included electric windows, PAS, Scheel sports seats, sports steering wheel, alloy wheels, aluminum bonnet/boot lid and door skins (spare steel bonnet is also included in the sale).

Modification: lightweight sports spoiler, roof (vinyl and sunroof).

• 20th May 2017: Historic at Brookland: auction, no reserve, sold for £48,000.00 plus commission
• 1985: owner who bought the car in 1985 for the princely sum of £2450 drove it locally and at sprint days at Goodwood.
