2021 independent comment, not from the seller: the car is amazing and if you are looking to buy a CSL that is different from factory Spec and want to stand out from the E9 crowd , this car is for you and you have no interest in the cars value going north , then this car ticks all the boxes ... but ... their are not many people out their that are looking to purchase and spend 105/110k on a CSL that stands out from the E9 crowd
Nearing the end of a total mechanical and cosmetic
restoration: Now has a 3.2-liter engine with Mahle
lightweight competition pistons + cam, Bilstein shocks +
lowered springs, Group 2 Zender boxed fender flares, Alpina
16-inch alloy wheels, plastic rear bumper, no front
bumper, Group 2-style air dam
Richard Rihan restored this car which he then took to Spain on his retirement. But he soon worried about the condition of the roads and where he could get it serviced so he sold it to Nigel Fox who went to Spain, purchased it, and drove it back to the UK – and then sold it.
