History: This car was an early injected car of 1972, which was used in the spring of 1973 to test the wing kit and to try different stripe designs. It was eventually shown as a 3.2 car in public events in July 73 (at race tracks) and it was displayed in BMW brochures as a 3.2. It may actually have received a 3.2 engine, but it was not born a Batmobile. It still had the old style heater console. It can also be seen in the FIA homologation sheet.
