3.0CSiL 2275030
below: 2018 Below: older Title:
Outside paint: Golf (070)
Factory equipment:
very similar to
2275071
Restoration: 201X: New correct seat covers and carpet from
Germany.
History and controversy: Very original,is a
beautiful car with very low mileage, but with full
disclosure and a few hurdles. First off, the car left the factory as an ultra
lightweight but MOTAG forced the selling dealer in Switzerland
to convert the car over to their standards. That included
removing the plexiglass windows, fiberglass rear bumper and
aluminum doors (which I do know a set of doors come with the
car) and also add steel bumpers. The car really needs to be put
back into the condition it left the factory as in order to
obtain maximum value which the seller is trying to achieve. Most
buyers for a car like that want it to be "turn key" and not have
a back story with a question as to "how much" it will cost them
to bring the car back. Put back in it's original state
it is one of a rumored 20-30 ever built that was not a City
Package car. It is the ultimate CSL as it was just
like the first 169 carb'd cars only with the injected motor.
Others think that +2275 030+ is a city pack CSL! Steel bumbers,
steel doors and CS/CSi chassis are correct.
Transaction: 2018: $260,000
