History: a famous car, much photographed in the 1980s early 90s owned by Tim Hope Frost. . Tim ran a garage called Autobahn and was a very active Club member who raced the car whenever he could. He also tried various modifications and wrote many of the articles in the early days of the first “CSL Register“.

But he wrote the car off in an accident at Silverstone in about 1988 and it was never re-built as he sold all the best parts to other racers.

In about 1998 JC brought a CSL for restoration, 2285321 FWN199L which came from Autobahn because it had closed down. It was in terrible state and in the foot well there was the shell number of 005 which had been cut out of the shell and is now lying on JC's desk.

2285005 is definitely scrapped.
